Learning Objectives
After completing the course, participants will be able to:
- Define moral choice (as distinct from ethical reasoning)
- Describe and use seven heuristics that enhance moral choice: a) identify action outcomes; b) rule out cheating; c) avoid self-deception; d) recognize other’s moral status; e) reach beyond rational justifications; f) match solutions to problems; g) execute the best solution; and h) take actions to improve the choice once made
